Hello! My name is Courtney, but my friends call me Switzerland, and I sign my artwork with my middle name, Lynn! I really enjoy drawing, writing, and singing. Though here on my DA you will mainly find my art and sometimes some writing. As for singing, and animation as well, that's on my youtube.
I mainly draw work consisting of my own characters developed for my stories, but sometimes I'll draw fanart. I have 13 different stories I'd love to write one day. Yes, I know that's an awful lot, but even I know I won't be able to write em all. I simply hope to write a few of them. uvu

Well first of all, I've finally graduated from high school! I'll be off looking for a job(again) soon, so if you think I'm not on enough now, just wait. On that note, I apologize for not being on very often, but if we're being honest, devintARTs community has really gone downhill compared to when I first joined. However I haven't left yet, though I might soon. Nothing is set in stone yet though. So please do not worry. (Not that any of you would, right?)
I'll be on break for a bit before I begin working, and I won't be going to college for a year, so perhaps there'll be more artwork or writings of mine put up. I'm gonna get my paypal commiss

An Update about life p.2

New Update: I've started working on a couple contest entries and some personal drawings as well. I've opened commissions and I'll be doing point commissions for now until I get a paypal account. Then I'm going to restrict certain things to just paypal commissions. My family and I aren't doing so well money wise as of now. My dad is the only one who works for our family of four, and he hasn't been working much lately due to my great grandmother(his grandmother) being sick in the hospital the last few days and just passing away today. She was like a mother to him and it's effecting him deeply. I'm trying desperately to get a job and help out. T

Hmm, let's see, I suppose 5th grade. Some friends had told me something nuts supposedly and my mum was like "Yeah, no. lol it's more like this, ---." Of course she sat down and explained it to me just so I wouldn't have the wrong idea.

I'm like 101% sure my dad "heard" the name Courtney due to "Courtney Love".
